Parcours Des Mondes 2018 to honour 1930 Galerie Pigalle exhibition
Via Bruno Claessens comes the exciting news that the famous 1930 Galerie Pigalle exhibition will be celebrated during Parcours des Mondes 2018.
According to the official press release, the 2018 Parcours des Mondes will center around 3 events: an homage to the legendary 1930 exhibition
that was held at the Galerie du Théâtre Pigalle, a series of lectures that will take place at the Espace Tribal, and the normal exhibitions that participating dealers present.
Homage to the 1930 Galerie du Theatre Pigalle exhibition
An homage to the legendary 1930 exhibition organized by Tristan Tzara, Charles Ratton, and Pierre Loeb at the Galerie du Théâtre Pigalle in Paris will be presented at Espace Tribal.
Organised by dealers Nicolas Rolland and Charles Wesley-Hourdé, in
conjunction with Tribal Art magazine, the show will feature a selection of artworks from the original show. Many of the original artworks for the show are considered to be masterpieces.
A limited edition book (with over 500 illustrations) will be released with the exhibition, and apparently features essays from luminaries such as Yaëlle Biro, Virginia-Lee Web.
